  Carin is a real pro…1 year and 5 months ago my lying, cheating ex-wife called (yes it’s finally over and I’m divorced) and informed me that I would be served divorce papers when I came home from work. I searched on Avvo and found Carin and that was the best thing I could have done. I was on the phone with her when the process server delivered the papers and she was guiding me through everything saying it would be OK. This was at 6pm mind you and she instructed me on what I needed to do so she could get started on my case. We met a couple of days later and I brought all the documents that were needed. That started my long journey of unwrapping myself from this woman that I had trusted with everything and that had betrayed that trust.
  
  All I know is that if it wasn’t for Carin and her thorough knowledge of family law (she knows statutes and case law by heart), devotion to her clients and the fact that she truly cares for people I wouldn’t have come out of this with as good a settlement as I got. Not only that, but she knows many people in the local judicial world! Let me tell you, when she says that she knows judge/lawyer so and so and understands them to a certain degree. She really does! Carin explained that her strategy would be constantly evolving based on the facts and the circumstances. They did evolve and change but she talked to me about it and explained why it was changing. I was always in the loop.
  
  Carin advised that I retain a certified divorce financial specialist which I did. This specialist provided the cold hard numbers and advised me throughout the case.
  
  I could call Carin when I was at my wits end and she would talk me down so I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was very lucky I selected Carin because NOBODY ELSE cares as much for their clients as she does. She was always keeping me informed about what was going on with my case and if I had questions I could usually get answers in less than a day. She is a true professional. Whenever I have the chance I recommend her to friends who need a family lawyer.
